The workshop is focused on the development of some Sicilian techniques, and at the same time on the learning of one or two traditional songs that can be accompanied by tamburello.
The Sicilian technique is an elaborate and complete way of playing the tambourine. Linked to the great family of tarantelle, it can be used to accompany traditional instruments such as zampogna (Sicilian bagpipes), songs, or to play solos and improvisations.
